This set is really a patch for my last set of 1.04.01 revision 1 drivers. With this set I have finally tapped Hidden Surface Removal for usage in OpenGL/Glide. Same stuff as before but you will notice a change in the driver listing, and the change released Hidden Surface Removal from it's disabled state. Yes, that VSA-100 driver marked as 4.13.01.0028 is from the x3dfx set and I'll explain why I used it. Apparently when 3dfx released the 1.04.01 BETAs originally they had programmed in HSR in the 3dfxogl.dll driver, but never activated it within the 3dfx16vs.drv file protocols which runs the whole set. Apparently Reid at x3dfx (a former branch office of 3dfx Inc.) knew what to do and programmed it into his set to actually use the HSR, D3D wasn't great but he knew if the driver could be added to a past set, HSR would be usable without having to search for the missing 1.19 BIOS only to find you may never get it. Needless to say when I added it in it worked. Direct3D still has the same feel as the regular 1.04.01 does and isn't effected by the driver from the x3dfx set. I did however update the Glide files to the x3dfx as they work somewhat better in most cases since I've used them. Anyway, this set is ready to go and is in full working order.

These drivers have been tested and are very stable. If you do experience any anomalies or problems e-mail me at WhiteTigerX7@netscape.com so I can help you. I do request feedback in terms of good or bad experiences. I'm also looking for features that actually work that might be added to the set. Try to help if possible.

Thanks,
